MY LEARNING FALL AND RISE

      When  I first saw my English teacher. I thought to myself, "I wonder if this person is a teacher that will be able to teach us something important that we will actual use, after we get out of high school." He started talking about the traditional way of learning English or the opensource way. He said," The opensource is where you will create a blog and post about things you learned." He asked the class to choice between these two options.  Before he left outside he told us that he really trusts us. He said to take our time and decide as a class. Then he said, "When you guys decide come and get." Then he walked out of class. I was shocked that he left us in class all by our self.

      I was like, no one will have the guts to go call him back and tell him what we chose. My friend and I were saying that we both like to try the opensource. To be able to try a completely different way of learning. I was excited because we will be creating our own blog. Posting our thought on things that we will read in the future. I was hoping the class was going to chose the opensource learning.Then a student stood up and walked towards the door and called him in. He asked, " What did you guys decide on?" The class decided on opensource learning. I was quite happy.

       As days went on, we started writing journals and posting on our blogs'. Then came the day where we had to remember a poem and post on YouTube and get on our blog. I had a hard time because was used to recording myself and got really nervous. I some how post the video and manage to remember all the words or the poem. One of the harder things, that I had to deal with was writing essays.Man, that really killed me. I had to rewrite my essay many times. In till, I thought it was better then the other ones.The essay was called 'Let me walk through the Pedestrian.' I had help from other people, I felt great when I was finished. I know that I really tried. My teacher told us that essay actual means to try. I really felt like that. One thing, I did learn is that I should really post on the day it has to be published because you well be stress out. You would have, to much work to do. I tried harder to post and stay on top of the things I needed to do. He also, told us to record what we do during the day, daily. I realized how much time I wasted. When I could be posting but I know myself that I wouldn't do it.I tried to mange my time and and get my act together. I did manage to do more then before, I was able to do better journals. One of my best journal entree by date is 9-27-19. One of favorite poems are Richard Cory. It was such a nice beginning but then it got dark really quickly. It talked about a man beginning so perfect that the people around got so inspire and decide to act like him. No one was expecting that he had problems to the point that led him to kill himself.

I learned so much. He gave us advice that I knew will be helpful and prepared us to be ready for life. I had so many nice moments in class. The one thing did put a smile on my face was the when I finished the class interview. I knew that I did good and was prepare. When I was the went back to my seat and went to look at the post, I made and got feedback. I got so much positive feedback and I was really happy, they thought I did good. I got the chance to know more, I now knew how to setup template for a resume, cover letter, and reference. I did learn more things then I thought and actual useful unlike other class where they teach you how to write an essay and how to do slides. They are helpful but not something that will get you a job. I experience many difficulties through the whole out the semester. To any students that have a teacher that really trusts you and helps prepare for things that will be more helpful. I hope you guys try hard.

How did I do?

MY BRAIN ON THANKSGIVING BREAK

Over the small break, I went running with my two older siblings for some days. The rest of the time, I was home with my parent. When thanksgiving came, my older sisters came over  and helped my mom with the turkey and other side dishes. I enjoyed the food and was very happy because my older brother came to visit us. During that time, I knew, that I had to read for the literature analysis but I decided to not worry about it. Instead, I was more focused for my interview. I asked my siblings to help me prepare for it. I practiced for 4 days but I still haven't answered with a good response. After, doing all that, I picked my top five journals entries. I tried looking for good posts that are my top five but only found two. I also looked over the vocabulary, I was so sad to see all the words. I know that it's good for us but I just got sad looking at the words. I know that I didn't do all the things, I was suppose to do but I wanted to relax for awhile. I did enjoy my break.

Same Words Different People

In class, we learned about some new vocabularies. There was some words that, I already knew. My English teacher told us to ask our group members what the word means to them. We had the same meaning for the words but each of us explained the meaning in different ways. It was really nice to see the way, they described the word. I got to see from their point of view. It's was a nice experience, I would like to do this again in my class. I hope teachers, from other schools do this because the students could learn something new from their classmate or just learn the way their classmates think.

THE ART OF HOSTING GOOD CONVERSATIONS ONLINE

As we went over "The Art Of Hosting Good Conversations Online" in my English class. I noticed that it mentioned things about being a good host.  A host should always show, a good behavior so people can follow their example. They make sure that everyone feels welcome in their conversations. They make sure that, they keep their emotions in check. A host should be able to enforce rules, when needed. I really got to know what makes a good host on online.

ON SELF-RELIANCE PART 5

In, my English class we are still reading about self reliance. This was written in 1841. He wrote about things that are happening now in society. He had no idea what would happening in future but he was on point with all the problems we are having now. He also wrote about us knowing ourselves well but in reality we don't know what we are capable of.  He said that we truly don't ourselves. Yeah, we might think that we are useless but in a other universe we might be the king or queen. I never really thought of it that way. In a way, we are all capable of accomplishing great things. We just need time to find out what we are great at. It might take a long time but you will find it.

In the recent posts, I been writing about Self- Reliance.  The writer wrote about so many things that are true. To me least. The author wrote about being brave enough to say your ideas and being able to tell your ideas or beliefs in a way people can understand you. He talked about being consistent is such a good thing. You will never be able to experience news things. You would not be such open minded person. I agree with him because if I never did

"Nothing is at last sacred but the integrity of your mind." wrote Emerson. My English teacher explained to us, it means that we have all goals and can reach it but it all depends on mindset. We are all good people

Emerson wrote, "It may be safely trusted as proportionate and of good issues, so it be faithfully imparted, but God will not have his work made manifest by cowards." My English explained to us what this line meant. He said, "We only bring the goods parts of us to school because we are too ashamed to show other people what we meant be capable of." I realized what he was say is true. To me at least. We are also capable of doing maybe things but to afraid to take action. Emerson also wrote that we take breaks because we did so much work and know we need time

Elizabeth The Road Not Taken

LET ME WALK YOU THROUGH THE PEDESTRIAN

Loneliness is something we experience often in society. The loneliness often turns into sadness. When we become so lonely, we long for company. Like Ray Bradbury the way he wrote his short story. He shows how lonely the character was. How he was roaming around in the quiet dark street. Only himself on the streets. 

  

The neighborhood, Mr. Leonard is in has dark quiet streets and roaming around at night by himself. He also had Mr. Leonard speak to the houses he passed by in the dark. Even though he knew it would not respond back. This made me really think about how the author must have felt. Alone in the world, he was able to come up with a way, this character acted. His feelings showed through his character. 

  

 His character was a writer but was unemployed because he has not published any new books.              Mr. Leonard was an unmarried man. He enjoyed going for a walk in the night.  Ray Bradbury wrote how alone the character is, “he was alone in this world of 2053 A.D., or as good as alone, and with a final decision made, a path selected, he would stride off, sending patterns of frosty air before him like the smoke of a cigar.”  

  

Mr. Leonard always walks in the night, because of this he had an encounter with a police officer. The police started to question him. He asked what he was doing in the middle of night all by himself. He also asked if he walked every day at night. Mr. Leonard told him, he did, and he came out for fresh air. The officer became suspicious of him. The officer started to ask him whether he was married. Mr. Leonard said, “No.” The police didn’t say anything for a moment. He opened the door for the police car and told him to get inside. Mr. Leonard started to tell him that he didn’t do anything wrong. The police told him that if he had a wife. She would have been able to provide an alibi. So, he quietly got into the car. The officer is planning to take him to the Psychiatric Center for Research on Regressive Tendencies. Since he walks in the night every day. They drive off into the dark quiet street. 

  

Bradbury really showed us how the character suffered because he was all alone. He didn’t have a wife to be there to provide him with an alibi. The way he was also judged by the police because he was roaming by himself in the night. The way he worded each word made me think that he might have gone through what Mr Leonard went through. Or someone he knew. This made me really think about all the people who are out there by themselves. All suffering just like Mr. Leonard. 

STORY OF MY LIFE

Today, I will tell you guys a small story about my life. I was a sophomore when I did Cross Country. Cross Country is a sport about running for long time and on hills. We had a race in Fresno, it was a two day trip. We had to leave early. As we arrived to place where the race was be held at, I got more nervous. Our coach told us, that there will be many kids from different school. We arrived earlier so we can have time to walk the course and warm-up before our race. We were separated by grade level. The fresh mans and the sophomores ran together. While the Juniors and Seniors ran together. We started to warm-up because our race was about to start. Our race started around 5:00 pm. Our coach told us that it was time for the race. We were head to the line. So we could get many girls from our school in front of the line. We all got ready and got into position. Every second that passed I got more nervous. They took a long time, before the people shot the gun in the air for us to start, Me and my cousin started late. We both did't realize he shot the gun. In until, we saw all the girls run. We were the last ones from all the schools. I tried really hard to close the gap between me and the other girls. There was a point where we had to turn. That's where I managed to catch up with some girls. As I got more in the race, I passed more girls. When I got towards the end, I had to compete with a girl from a different school for the last 100 meters. I was side to side with her but I wasn't fast enough to pass her. I came a couple seconds after she finished. To my surprise, I wasn't that tired. I cheered for my teammates that were finishing. After, all the girls finish running the people in charge of the race posted the time results. I went to check my time, it was 15:48 seconds. I was really happy because I beat my time for the last that was 2 miles. I improved by 2 minutes. Even though I had a really late start, I managed to pull through. It became one of my best races.

SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK

I think Ray Bradbury wrote this because he wanted to show how he looked at the community. The way he talked about his neighborhood made it sad. He described  his neighborhood as a quiet and lonely place when it's night. He also described an officer, that was wondering through the streets. He looked like a drunk man walking. I think the plot is about how a police officer assumed that he was doing something bad and nobody was there to help him out. His neighbors were just in their houses locked away and being entertained by the TV.

HOW TO GET ALONG ONLINE

Do you guys know how to get along with a strangers online? If you don't, I have some ideas that can help. I read a article in my English class. It gave me so many interesting ideas on how to communicate with people online. Here are some, respect others, control your emotions, and get to know other people before you make any kind of judgement online. Just make sure to"treat others as you want to be treated."

LETTER TO A MENTOR DRAFT 1

Every moment, now and then I think why we can't cure cancer. I mean we can get antibiotics to get rid of  a flu, a cough, a sore throat, and etc. Why can't we cure cancer? I know we have cancer treatment but it doesn't make cancer go away for sure. I would like to ask a scientist. If there is any chance in finding something that might cure cancer, later on in the future?

Literature Analysis #2

Lately, I been reading a book called "Until We Meet Again." The book is about a young girl called Darcy. It was about, how she was planning, plans with her boyfriend and her friends in the summer. Instead, she ends up getting bad news. She finds out that her boyfriend is moving and her boyfriend ends up breaking up with her. Everything ends up bad because her family started to have problems. It was about her dad and grandmother. I kept reading this book because it talked about relationships, like family, friends, and couples relationships. I hoped that there was something that I can relate too. Even if it was a fiction story. The reason I got past the first ten pages was because the way the author worded it. It kept me intrigued. When I read books, I always listen to music to concentrate better. I also try to read more. I really enjoyed reading this book for this literature analysis.

INVESTING IN ME

Have you guys started to think about, what you are going to do after school?Not that much? I will be talking about what I am going to do after school. Maybe some of don't know but I am in third year in high school. I am already starting to take a community college class. So it will help me, finish  community college faster. From there transfer to a university. I heard from my friends that have already graduated from high school. If you take the class in community college the classes are free or cheaper then in university. Where you will be learning the same thing but in community college. Those are plans so far. I hope you guys start to make plans too. If you don't have any. Even, if you finish with community college or university.

HOW I READ

Today, in my English class Dr.Preston read to us. As he read, I found out amateur came from a French derivation called "love." That amateurs don't do it for money. They do it because they love doing, the thing that they love the most. When Dr. Preston got towards the end of the article. I found it nice. That Dr.Preston said that it's better to do what we love and be work free.I agree with him. It would be nice to do something you love for work.

HAWTHORNE & POE ON DREAMS

I read a story about "Young Goodman brown" and a poem called " A Dream Within A Dream."  I think the of authors wrote a similar theme. They also used particular words in describing whether we are dreaming. Hawthorne and Poe use metaphors in there writing. Is everything we really experience reality or a dream? I know we can't we prove we are asleep but i think that's the main point the authors are trying to make us think.

A other way to look at their work and how it's similar because they both talked about how bad humanity is and all this madness in the world really real. The way Hawthorne wrote it is"My Faith is gone!" cried he, after one stupefied moment. "There is no good on earth; and sin is but a name. Come, devil! for to thee is this world given." Everything that Young Brown believed in was destroyed because all the people he trust betrayal-ed him by believing in the devil and doing bad things for him.It's also the way Poe worded his words. He said, "O God! can I not save

One from the pitiless wave? In my perspective I think he trying to say he can't save someone from the evil in the world. 

     The way Poe rhythms his words. For example: "Is but a dream within a dream." I think he is trying to say  that if reality is a dream but when we supposedly fall sleep in reality we are just dreaming . inside a another dream. It really  made me take a look at the world differently. Just like Hawthorne  he looks at it a different point of view. They are both talking about if it's a dream and the evil there is in the world. They come to the same conclusion just a different. Just like math  you can solve the problem the standard way and other people solve it a different way because they get the same answer.

In Hawthorne’s story used a an object and a person to represent hope. He use Young Brown’s wife name and the pink ribbon. He uses this to symbolize hope. He also wore a part where Young good Brown was in the forest with a devil. Telling the devil he  believes that his wife wouldn’t do anything evil or support it. The devil just laughed. Young Brown saw his wife with her pink ribbon wondering into the forest. He saw her going towards the darkness as in the evilness. In that moment the husband lost all his hope in his wife but in the people he knew too because his wife was his hope and the pink ribbon as significantly his faith in good. Where as Poe said, “Yet if hope has flown away.” I think he was meaning that hope was just gone and there was none.

Overall, this really showed how both of the authors thought alike but in different way. Hawthorne wrote it as a story and Poe wrote it a poem. I got to read it in two different styles. In my opinion, the way they wrote made me think it's about us dreaming and the evil intentions people have around us. We really can't trust people too much.

Elizabeth A Dream Within A Dream

FIRST IMPRESSION OF A DREAM

Today, in my English class I read a poem called "Dream within a Dream." It talked about whether  the things in real life are really real. To be honest, I came cross this topic before. I don't really know what to believe because there is no real solid evidence that proves, we are really dreaming. Or if this is really real.  This poem really made me think about life. If this is something I am really experiencing. Or this is sending fake images to my brain while my body still laying unconscious somewhere.

MY ESSAY ESSAY

As we read the story"Young Goodman Brown." It talked about a young man named Brown, going for a walk in the night. Before he started to go on the walk he said goodbye to his wife named Faith. He walked in to the forest. He saw a old man that looked very familiar to him.  The old man started to say things about Brown's family members. How that helped him do bad things. Brown couldn't believe it. The old man started to talk, about the other people in his village. As the old the man told him  about the people he knew started to appear. Then one of the old lady said, " Devil."He couldn't believe what he heard. He started think about he bad things they done for the devil. He started calling them sinners. The devil started talking about his wife. He was so sure the that faith wouldn't commit such bad crimes.He saw his wife  wandering around the forest not believing his eyes.  He started shouting her name. He trying to reach her but it was to late. He saw his wife's pink ribbon. He got hold of the pink ribbon.Everything happened so fast, everything he saw disappeared. He got out of the forest and went back to the village. All the people he saw in the forest were acting like nothing every happened. He also saw his wife again. His wife came running to him and almost kiss him. Brown was lost soul.

MY THESIS STATEMENT

You guys probably know, what a thesis statement means. If you guys don't know, it means the main idea or know as the topic of the subject. In my English class, we were asked what the main point is in an essay. To me it means getting the point across to the readers. In the last posts, I been writing comments about a story called 'Young Goodman Brown.' For this story writing a prompt would be easy because it will be easier for us to write an essay. Prompt means focusing on the topic but being asked question related to the topic too.

READ TALK UNDERSTAND

Today, in my English class we read an essay that my teacher called Dr. Preston wrote. He wrote about how students felt about writing a essay based, on the information he collected from each of his classes. The way he wrote about how the teachers looked at us when we say, " it's so hard, we don't have a lot of time, and it's stressful writing an essay." The way Dr. Preston  explained to us that writing an essay is not really about stressing and not doing it. He told us that essay stands for trying. He said that as long as you are writing the essay that's trying. I found it so interesting. It kind of changed the way I look at essay now.

YOUNG OLD GOOD BAD

In my English class we read a story called 'Young Goodman Brown.' We were asked what  the intention of the author was by writing the story this way. I think he was telling us that sometimes we shouldn't completely trust the people we know. I think the reason why Stephen King was affected by this story was because he was shocked, that all the people he trusted might not be who they really are. Our minds can be really powerful into tricking us in believing something that's not real. Sometimes we can't really know a person that well. Not many people are willing to show us their true side. 

YOUNG GOODMAN BROWN

Today, I read a story called ' Young Goodman Brown' in class.  We were asked to answer some  questions. I think the reason Hawthorne wrote 'Young Goodman Brown,' is to tell us that not all people are who you really think they are. The name of Brown's wife fit who she is. She seems like a really caring character just the way the author described her. I also think that Brown really believes in her. He thinks that she wouldn't do any thing that is evil or worship the devil. He truly believed her from his heart. In my opinion the pink ribbon that the wife always used to wear represents the wife's pure soul. As we read through the story Brown was surround by people he trusted. He found out that all of them did something evil and worshiped the devil.He was in the forest with the people he knew but as time passing everything was shocking him. In the next moment he was all alone by himself. As he got out of the forest he saw the people  but all of the them acted like nothing ever happened. He was confused. I was too, so I think that all of that was part of a dream. The old man that led him through the forest was the devil himself. According to the author, "The devil!" screamed the pious old lady." He gave us a big hit when the old lady saw the old man and his staff. The staff that the old man or so called devil carried. It represents the way Brown is. I think he is twisted inside but he just doesn't accept who he really is.  If he never left faith in the beginning he wouldn't have know that the people he cared, for worshiped the devil even his wife. He would have trusted his fellow townspeople and his wife.

Literature Analysis #1

The book is called 'Just Mercy' by Bryan Stevenson.It was based on real life story. It was about a lawyer who helped criminals that were falsely accused get out of prison. He later set up a program just for the people who were falsely accused. It was called the Equal Justice Initiative. In the book it talked about many people but it mainly focused on Walter McMillan. He was put on the death row. The theme was about having justice. The author who wrote the book, is the lawyer in book. I think he the type to wake early, get a cup of coffee, and leave early to get to work.The author used  characterization for the rich people and how they treat the poor. He says the rich disfavors, accuses and condemns the poor ones. Bryan said, "Each one of us is more than the worst thing we've ever done.We all need mercy, we all need justice."The symbol he always uses is mercy. He keeps talking about, how we all need mercy sometimes. That's how, we are going to survive.

THE MEDIUM IS THE MESSAGE

So, today I will be talking about communications on online and security. Today, I was recommend to get proton emo for better security. So the conversation I would have, would be better protected from other people. Also when we talk too people, you want people to understand what you are saying. You want to have better communication with the people. So, when we post we things online you always try to check your grammar because you are talking to people that you really don't know.

SO THIS GUY GOES FOR A WALK

I found 'Young Goodman Brown' interesting because it's similar to Adam and Eve. The way the author uses the snake in this story. It's weird how they use the name of the wife to represent a another meaning. The way he uses it is, like having faith in someone thinking they wouldn't do anything wrong. I also think the place it takes place in is so creep.

FOR THE WIN

Today we were told to write about something we were proud of. There is one thing in mind but i am not sure it if counts because I didn't do it good enough.The thing I am proud of is that, I got the guts to audition for choir. So I had to sing in front of the class. I was nervous but I managed to sing. I was proud of myself because I didn't back out. Even though I didn't make it, I was proud. It was something I never really thought I would be able to do.

I AIN'T GOT TIME FOR THIS

Time management is really something hard to do. I feel that people suffer from this and lose time to sleep. I am one of those people. When I start to do my homework I  do it for 2-3 hours and that just for one class.  I do this with my homework from each class. When I turned in the homework  I would get credit. For doing it  my grade doesn't go down but it doesn't make my grade go up by a lot either. I would get a stable grade letter. This also helps me have a better understanding of the problems I learned in class.

THE EARTH ON TURTLE'S BACK

Today in class we read a story called 'The Earth On Turtle's Back.' The story was very interesting. The way all the creatures were willing to help save the sky woman. I also found it interesting, the way the Naive Americans told the story. To make up a story to explain things they can't really explain. So they would tell stories on how they think the world was made.They kept the the story very interesting. They would also tell their kids and the kids would tell the story to their own kids. The way their parents told them the story.

TODAY I WAS THINKING

Today in class we were asked to think about what mindful means. I thought that mindful means being thoughtful of other people. Then, later we started to talk about concentration. Dr.Preston gave us time to meditate and let us get our thoughts' sorted out. So we can concentrate on the things we were talking about. It was really nice that we got time to tuck it away or let it be on pause for a moment.

I CARE ABOUT YOUR UNDERSTANDING

Today I want you guys to know that I am writing about wanting be understood. I want to talk about how slaves and the way the laws with for the color people. Most for people who are African american. The way they used the black codes to enslave African american.  Later on they gave human rights like the american. They were segregate. Would there was crimes they would imminently think the African american did it. They would put them in prison without any concrete evidence. The police could put them in prison because they can. So many African Americans were put in prison. They even put kids. There was stories where as black kid would be driving a car and the police stop him. The police ask him for his driver licence. So the kid reaches for his bag and tries to pull it out but the police thinks that he is pulling out a gun. So the police ends up shoot him. The police look through his big to try to get the big but just found the driver licence. They ended up killing him for no reason just because he was black they assumed he could be a killer.   

THE MAKING OF AN ESSAY

I feel that everyone has a hard time writing essays. Don't you? I have a hard time writing essays because I don't know how write out the ideas, I have in my mind out on a piece of paper. I also have a hard time with grammar. For me, writing essays hasn't been a good experience.  I also noticed that students really get stressed out because they would have to write a lot in a limited time. I hope that in the future all the teachers would consider giving us more time too write an essay.

THE FIRST FIFTY PAGES

I am reading a book called ‘Just Mercy’ by Bryan Stevenson. This book is so interesting so far. It’s talks about a young lawyer. Who had taken cases of people that were in wrongly accused of murder. He took this case about Walter McMillian. He took other cases before Walter McMillian. He talked about other two prisoners. One of the prisoners in prison were on the death row. He read the cases and one was executed. The another one was sentenced to death in prison. One got electrocuted. That person suffered so bad. The  execution was horrible because they didn’t do it right. They thought they set it up right but when it on. Only half of his body was burnt and the officers just found out they didn’t plug it in right . So they had to do it again. There was another case where they had to do three times before the prisoner died. That's what happen so far in the book. I hope you find this book interesting to read.

EVERYTHING IS A REMIX

Remix - is  transformation, combine, and copy
The first time I heard a remix was really cool. I also thought the animation for the video was really good. The way the combined different kind of animation together to make it into one was very cool. I found it really fascinating how they combined two different artist and actually make it sound nice. I also feel that the animation in the video really showed what it needed too. I find remixes kind of nice to listen too. I hope other people kind of like it too.

HOW I READ

I really enjoy reading books. I hope others do too. My experience in reading has been great so far. I like reading books that involves crimes and the laws. I also enjoy reading books that have comedy and romance. I really enjoy reading books that involves the laws because in some books, it shows how badly the the system works. Whether people tried to justify what is really right or wrong. Or let people go to jail for something they have been wrongly accused of. Or see if people really want to change how the law works. That’s what I find interesting about books that are related to the laws.

NOW I REMEBER

How do we remember things? To be honest, I don't really know. People have many ways of remembering things. The way I remember is by reciting  little parts of a poem or numbers for couple of times. Then doing the same thing over and over. In till, I remember the things I need too. Just like playing a song you like over and over. After some time you know the lyric's to the song.

GETTING TO KNOW YOU

The experience I had in this class was fun. I found out some interesting things about certain people. I found out that there was a person that put, their milk first in the their bowl and then they put the cereal. There was another person that likes watches. I got to know things I never knew about them too. They also got know something about me too. I felt that the treasure hunt was a good experience because you go, around and ask people if they it's about them. It makes them talk to other people they would never really talk to. So this would make them social with each other.

HACK TO SCHOOL

This English class is about teaching the students how to writing better. Also coming up with a different way to look at things and be better at grammar. This class is also teaching us how to use technology for our own use.  The easiest thing about this class is that the work is not to hard. We just   write about what we think about the question. The hardest thing about this class is that we use more technology. Which is kind of hard for me because I am not that good with technology. My big question is whether cancer can really be cured? I found that there is nothing yet, but there is different types of treatment for some of the different cancers.

CONSCIENCE OF A HACKER

My thoughts on 'Conscience of a Hacker' is that he is right in the end. We are all the same. I found it interesting how he wrote it from an adults' perspective. The way he wrote about it, made it something we could relate to.  He said, "Damn kids." We all heard something similar to that. So in a way I could understand that we are all alike.

COMMUNICATION STRATEGIES OF A HACKER

The diction is powerful and meaningful. The tone shows that the author has more knowledge. He wrote in a way that all people can relate. He even said, "They're all alike." Saying we are not too different from him. In a way we all are hackers  we don't have to hack computers to be one . We are one everyday.

TODAY I ASKED A QUESTION

Can cancer really be cured? There isn't anything that can cure cancer yet. There is treatments to stop the cancer from growing more. There is chemotherapy, radiotherapy and another one but some cancers become resistant to it. Allowing cancer to spreading into other areas of the body.

I AM NOT [?] ENTITLED TO MY OPINION

 We are not entitled to our opinion because the government doesn't let us say whatever we want. If we were to speak out and say something the government doesn't like, then you could die for it or you could go to prison. We need support from other people to back us up. We need people to honor our opinions too.

The Right to Your Opinion

In some parts of the paragraph, it was confusing. Later, I understood what they meant. Everyone has their rights, to say their opinion and not be judged by it. We intend to stand to what we think is right.

THE SOCRATIC METHOD

   The Socratic method is a good method for students to speak out, their thoughts. It will also help us improve and think with more logic.

Hi, and welcome to my blog I would like to tell you some things about me. First of all, my name is Elizabeth. I am 16 years old. I am not the best in English or math but I try my best. I am also learning a bit of french. I found out, that in France you have to play french music from 8:00 am through 8:00 pm. I found that, very surprising.
