In my English class, we are reading a book called 'The Great Gatsby'. We started reading chapter 2. Which talked about Nick going over to his cousin's house. There he met Tom. Who is Daisy's husband. He went to the school as he did, called 'Havens.' Nick knew that Tom was quite rich and popular, back in the old days. He knows, that it still the same. They start to talk to each other and were about to have dinner. When there was call that Tom had to grab. In the room, he noticed a woman. She was talking to Daisy before the phone call happened. They were gossiping about things. Daisy had to leave the room to get something. The woman was called Jordan Baker. She got so quiet, when Tom left the room to answer the phone. She was trying to listen to the conversation. Nick was wondering why she was listening. So he asked, "Why?" She said that Tom was talking to his other woman. Nick was deeply shocked.He thought the relation between Tom and Daisy was going well. Then Tom came back and started talking about the thing they were talking about before. Nick felt uncomfortable staying there. He also found out, that Daisy and Tm had a kid that was just 2 years old. He found out so many things, some that he didn't want know but did.
